Visit with Santa!

Here are pics of the boys with Santa this year. I think this was the first year they were not scared and did not cry when I tried to get them to sit on his lap. As you can see from the picture with Isaac & Santa, Isaac took some pictures to show Santa exactly what he wants for Christmas!

Arggghhh! Isaac turned 6!

Isaac turned 6 years old on December 7th and he had a blast at his Pirate B-Day Party! I let him invite about 10 kids over from his Kindergarten class. Between making pirate hats, dressing up like pirates, going on a treasure hunt, playing games, eating pizza & birthday cake, and getting presents it was a crazy night. I don't know what I was thinking letting him have so many little friends over at one time and for 4 hours!! I definitely learned my lesson. LOL! I was exhausted by the end of the night. He had a great time though...so, it was all worth it!

Halloween 2008!

The boys had fun at Halloween this year! Alex was Batman and Isaac was Chase Daniels (a Mizzou football player). My dad has season tickets to the Mizzou football games and Isaac loves to go with him. So, he wanted to be a Mizzou football player this year.....and not a KC Chiefs football player! I think Tim was kind of disappointed that he chose the Tigers over the Chiefs! LOL!

Isaac started Kindergarten!

Our little guy started Kindergarten this year. He is doing great! He loves his teacher Ms. Wells and has made many new friends!

Alex didn't like it that Isaac got to go to school and not him, but he is getting use to it now!

Alex riding with NO training wheels!

Tim taught Alex how to ride his bike without training wheels on day at the shop. It didn't take him very long to catch on, but he did have a wreck and get his elbow scraped up!

Isaac Graduates from Pre-School

Well.....Isaac had his pre-school graduation in May. I am starting to get nervous because he will be off to Kindergarten in about 1 month! I'm sure it will be a harder day on me than him! During his pre-school graduation they asked all the kids "what they wanted to be when they grew up" and Issac said he wanted to be an ice cream salesman. I think Tim was kinda disappointed he didn't say a cabinet maker, but it was pretty funny! My mom & dad went with us, so they are in the pictures above too!

Watch out -- the Hartman boys are cooking!

The boys were so excited they got to make mommy a birthday cake. They wanted to make me a strawberry cake with strawberry icing and sprinkles.
